These maps and projects are companion pieces for our academic research publications and are driven by the belief that research should enter public domains in widely accessible formats. Hopefully, these projects are helpful to academic researchers, teachers, students, and the general public. Making these maps is expensive, timely, and outside the traditional scope of academic work.
